Our beloved deck

Just thinking about my last blog post reminded me of our beloved deck in Brisbane. The sub tropical climate there allows people to comfortably transition between inside and outside, seamlessly making nature part of their living space. This connection with nature massively enhances quality of life and Paul and I have talked a lot about how this could be translated into architecture in our cooler climate. 

It wasn't just on the sunny days that we enjoyed sitting on the deck. This video is gearing up for a massive storm!
